Our party of 4 spent 5 days at this wonderful condo (#5120) for our dive trip the week of June 28, 2010. We loved the place ! It's very comfy, spacious, nicely decorated and actually better in real life than in the pictures. It has a gorgeous beach view, with the white sandy beach only a few steps from the front porch, and 2 nice outdoor swimming pools in close proximity. There are large LCD TVs with satellite service in the living room and bedrooms, which are nicely furnished. The bathrooms are nice and sparkling clean. There are electronic safes to keep your valuables. There's also a Skype phone that can be used for free phone calls to the US. We cooked breakfasts daily in the fully-equipped kitchen, and for dinners, we took Patsy's recommendation and hired the housekeeper, Veronica, to cook for us. One could tell that Veronica loves cooking from the meals she prepared for us, complete with side dishes of rice, beans, salsa, chips, guacamole and pico de gallo ... Veronica speaks good English, and is very cheerful and pleasant. The complex is safe, well-maintained and well-lit at nights. We rented a car from Thrifty for $42 a day, including liability insurance and unlimited mileage. For the diving, we chose Careyitos Diving (www.advanceddivers.com) who ran a very safe and excellent operation, with a large yet fast boat and very knowledgeable and personable dive guides and a delicious lunch. Careyitos picked us up and dropped us off every day at the Aura pier, a 3-minute walk from our porch (there is a daily charge of $3 per person for using the pier, but well worth it) ! Talk about getting spoiled ! Last but not least, it was a pleasure to book the condo through Patsy. Not only was she pleasant and helpful in answering questions, the whole transaction was friendly, based on trust, and hassle-free. I felt like she treated me as a friend, which inspired us to treat her place with care, like it's ours. 13. Condo #8340 Gill and Chris Hill, Unregistered We had a very pleasant stay. Everything was just as advertised and Luis was very helpful. We would certainly like to return. Thanks 12. Condo #8340 Betty Boon Boulder Colorado co, Unregistered My girlfriend and I spent the last week of March at this delightful spot. We were concerned about spring break crowd, but found the area quaint and quiet. The condo is beautifully decorated, and gives you a very homey feeling, located in paradise. The condo is well equipped with anything you could possibly want or need for your vacation getaway. It is in the most beautiful of settings, and with many opportunities for activity or peace and quiet if that is what you desire. I would not hesitate to return to the same area, in fact look forward to my next trip. Enjoyed Veronica(housekeeper) so much, and she is so grateful for her work, she said that her husband lost his job and has not been able to find a new job. She was just a doll! We just saw Luis(Jerry & Patsy's Rep) once, but we had no real needs. He was very nice, and helped my friend Susy with her water. The snorkeling was so much fun, we spent a lot of time at the Money Bar, just loved it there. It was all just FANTASTIC! Thanks, b 11. Condo #8310 Maureen & Glenn Harvey , Carnati, Unregistered We just returned from 8 fabulous days in Patsy & Jerry's Residencias Reef condo #8310. We've traveled many places, including multiple trips to Cozumel and their unit is by far one of our most favorites spots on earth! Upon entering the unit, you immediately feel at home with all the personal touches they have added and you really never want to leave. The unit is immaculate with the most stunning view to sit and enjoy both day and night. Patsy and Jerry are gracious hosts and always available for questions or guidance on how to get the most out of your trip. The development is amazingly beautiful, peaceful and quite which is just what our family was looking for. If you want more excitement, there's a number of beach clubs within a couple minutes walk and town is only a few miles away. I would recommend this location and condo to anyone without a seconds thought and should you visit it, I'm sure you'll find like us, you'll be back there as quick as you can get there :) Patsy & Jerry - thank you for such a wonderful trip and opening your home away from home to us. 10. Condo #8340 Jeff Smart, Unregistered My wife & I had a wonderful time in this gorgeous condo. It was even BETTER than we expected from the nice photos. I highly recommend this condo. (This particular unit is on the TOP floor so it has the BEST ocean view.) Also, Cozumel is generally quite clean & has low prices on food, gifts, etc. (a far better buy than, say, Cayman Islands). 9. Condo #8310 Graham & Sheila Kimble, Casper,, Unregistered We stayed in Patsy & Jerry's beautiful "home away from Home"(unit 8310) Jan. 29 - Feb. 11, 2009 and would definitely give it a "five star rating." Everything in the unit is first class and their family photos, along with the advance information as well as the book provided on site, made us feel as if we knew the Ruggles personally. We have fond memories (& some good photos) of beautiful sunsets viewed from our balcony & the rooftop solarium as well as the Money Bar & Albertos on the Beach (both much appreciated recommendations.) We definitely plan to return there next year. One tip to Wyoming residents - plan to fly out of Casper instead of driving to Denver,as an I-25 south road closure prevented us from catching our Wed. flight into Cozumel. Then we had to fly into Cancun the next day, drive down to Playa del Carmen & take the ferry across. Our stay at the Ruggle's condo in Residencias Reef made it all worthwhile!!
